After getting more than six different quotes for the kitchen of my dreams, I decided on Rockwood Kitchens for a few reasons. Firstly, I took a real liking to Danielle at our very first meeting. She was personable, knowledgeable and she didn’t try to rush us. She took her time as we walked through all the custom choices that were available. But most importantly, she listened to me!
I knew exactly how I wanted my new kitchen to look and it was different than an average kitchen, and Danielle got it! She saw my vision. She added a couple of nice additions to my wish list; like the pull-outs on either side of my new gas stove that house all my many mason jars of herbs and spices and extra bottles of oils and vinegars and the corner lazy susan cupboard. Danielle also designed a perfect pantry for me, that completely suits the clean lines and simplicity of my dream kitchen.
From the start with my first meeting with Danielle to John coming in to take the measurements, to the cabinet installations, to the two wonderful young men who came late in the day to install my counters. They were running late from another job and Danielle called to ask if it would be alright for them to come in the evening that day, ensuring that my counter tops were installed on the day that she had promised.
The end result is absolutely fabulous! Everyone who walks into our home is jaw-dropped when they see my kitchen! Including our son who is an executive chef and owns his own restaurant in Toronto, was blown away with my kitchen. He says it truly is a “chef’s kitchen”.
A year later, I still pause and smile to myself before I shut the lights off at the end of each day.
Thank you, Danielle and Rockwood Kitchens for helping me realize a dream that I had for twelve years come to fruition!
